Decades of Style 1930s Lily Jacket

This vintage pattern from 1931 is truly exceptional. It is a waist-length, self-lined jacket with raglan sleeves. The jacket has quintessentially 1930s-shaped seams and piecing – yet it looks right at home in the 21st century. The 3/4 length sleeve has a shaped hem to add even more to the timeless style of this jacket. There are two views: one with a tie closure at the center front waist; and one without the ties, featuring a double-breasted button closure or no closure with the jacket front draped open. We suggest making this pattern with a light to medium-weight woven like linen, rayon, silk, lawn, and lightweight wool suiting.
