Learn to Sew 6-8:30pm, Wednesdays October 30th through Dec 4th
6-8:30pm, Wednesdays October 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th (No Class the 27th), and December 4th
In a series of five 2 ½-hour sessions, Kate McIvor will teach the basics of great sewing. Using the Palmer/Pletsch Learn-to-Sew pattern, each student will make an apron, and in the process learn about sewing tools, how to select fabric, and how to use a sewing machine. Kate will cover important techniques, such as stay stitching, grading, clipping and notching, understitching, and hemming.
