The Matcha Top Class: April 2, 9 & 16

Sew Liberated’s Matcha is a “swingy, easy-to-sew top with a stunning, mandarin-inspired neckline” that you’ll love to wear with your favorite jeans or skirt.
In three 2 1/2-hour sessions, Kate will teach you how to construct a woven top from start to finish. You’ll learn how to gather a neckline, make faux epaulets, and sew sleeves on the flat. This top is perfect made out of a lightweight voile or lawn, or for a swingier version try a rayon!

Advanced Beginner: You’re very comfortable with a sewing machine. You have sewn a few simple things at home on your own. You need some guidance reading a pattern, and you are ready to tackle more complex projects and learn simple pattern alterations.
