New from Merchant and Mills, this Soft Stitch Jacquard Quilted Cotton is absolutely swoon-worthy!

A medium-weight quilted garment cotton – made from 100% BCI cotton -, the wrong side of this jacquard has a gauzy/ French terry feel, while the right side is soft and fine. There is no batting in the middle of this cloth, rather the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which – in conjunction with the running stitch Matelassé weaving technique – gives it its quilted feel.

Almost like a heavy-weight double gauze, we can imagine an amazing Tamarack Jacket, an oversized Linden Sweatshirt, a set of throw pillows, or even a quilt back made from this luxurious cotton.
