The Gardenia dress is loose-fitting and below the knee. Four tucks and a tie accentuate the waistline. The open neckline has a partially sewn tuck at the center front and is finished with bias binding. The extended shoulder line is finished with folded armhole bands.
The Gardenia blouse is loose-fitting, hip-length, with the same tuck and neckline detailed as the dress. It has slightly extended armholes finished with bias binding.
We suggest using midweight rayons, silks, linens, and cotton for this pattern.
Notions include thread, double-fold bias tape (optional), and a ballpoint bodkin.
