In celebration of her 20th year in fabric design, Anna Maria Parry took a look back at the inspiration behind her very first collection, Bohemian, released in 2005. While there are no direct reprints, Rhapsody gave her the chance to revisit those original muses: leopard prints, exotic florals, hand-painted tile work and ceramics, and tapestries. They were simply things she loved then, and as it turns out, she still loves them now. But with time comes experience, a more practiced hand, a more seasoned eye, and a deeper connection to those sources of beauty. She now can take those inspirations and create something that feels closer to what is in her mind and heart. Rhapsody is not just a nod to where she began, but a bookmark of where she is now as an artist and quilter. The prints are large and small, expressive, painterly, and personal.
