Cotton Sateen Floral in Orchid/Brown

Made of 100% cotton and woven into a satin pattern, this floral cotton sateen does double duty, giving you the sheen and silkiness you’d expect from a rayon or satin, with the durability and crispness of cotton! While silky smooth to the touch on the printed side, this fabric feels more like a traditional woven cotton on the wrong side, making it easier to work with than a rayon or silk.

A lovely light weight at around 3.5oz and providing a nice balance of crispness and drape, this fabric is perfect for dresses with gathers, button down shirts, blouses, skirts, and more. Because of the tight satin weave it is quite opaque despite the light weight, and could also be used for a luxurious feeling set of pajama bottoms or shorts!

This product holds the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The Oeko-Tex® label guarantees that no harmful substances, such as chemicals, are present in the fabric. Standard 100 includes four levels of certification, with criteria for baby clothing. Meaning dyes won’t be absorbed through the skin, and infants and young children should be able to safely chew on fabrics.
