Aptly named, the Girl Friday Blouse is reliable and consistently stylish – no matter the decade! A simple sheath with a cap sleeve and invisible side zipper, this blouse features darts and tucks which provide shaping at the waist, decorative running stitches of embroidery floss on the collars and armhole, and 3 collars stacked upon each other.
Because the three collars add a few layers to sew through, you’ll want to choose a very light fabric like one of our silks or rayons!
This blouse works fine without them, but it is the 1940s so you can add a little shoulder pad if you want!
The Girl Friday Blouse includes 9 sizes. The largest size is drafted for someone with a 46″ bust, 40″ waist, and 49″ hips.
