Maisie had been in love with the Jalie Alex Pullover pattern ever since the first shop sample was made in 2020. Then, six months ago, this envirofleece and boiled wool pair brought the Alex back to the front of her mind.

When Maisie began sewing clothes 6 years ago she (like many beginners) envisioned herself whipping up an entirely new wardrobe. But she soon learned that making clothes is no small feat.

There’s nothing wrong with dreaming big. But when big dreams lead to big failures, the trick becomes getting up, dusting yourself off, and trying again.
