When I’m almost finished with a quilt – particularly a complicated one – I just want to be done, and I feel frustrated when the quilt binding takes a long time. And, of course, it always does take a long time because I’m trying to rush.
Invariably, I get mixed up while connecting the binding strips, and I have to rip and resew. Then, once I’ve finally sewn the binding all the way around the quilt and just have to sew the two ends together, I’m REALLY ready to be done, and I hate it when connecting the ends becomes too fiddly.

If you’re like me – generally impatient with whole binding process – then you’ll love The Binding Tool and pre-made quilt bindings. The Binding Tool has been around for a long time, but it is new to me. It does all the measuring for you so connecting the short ends of your binding turns out perfect every time, with no fiddling!
